DITEK Supports Education and Youth Activities
DITEK’s community involvement revolves around organizations that serve children, particularly in the areas of education and youth activities. Beneficiaries of our time and financial resources include the Pinellas County Education Foundation (Yes I Can, Pride, Save, Doorways), the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department (Victims’ Advocates & Youth Ranches), Clearwater for Youth, Boys and Girls Club, PAL, CASA, Pace, The Beth Dillinger Foundation, and Resource Center for Women. Over the past 25 years, DITEK also has sponsored a multitude of youth sports teams.
DITEK CEO, Robert McIntyre, is a board member and past chairman of the Pinellas County Education Foundation. The mission of the Education Foundation is to provide enhanced educational opportunities for students and educators in Pinellas County Schools. The Pinellas Education Foundation strives to build a strong advocacy in the community for quality public education. It is the Education Foundation’s belief that we must have a superior educational system to ensure that our school children remain competitive in an increasingly global marketplace. Involving the private sector in the efforts to improve education is the key to success.
The Education Foundation is passionately committed to providing all students with the opportunity to be successful. To that end, the Education Foundation will continue to achieve the common goal of providing our students with the best possible education.
